Comes with original type keys and flat pawl. Special Note!! The pawl is the small bracket which attaches to the end of the door cylinders. The is what actually reaches in and trips the latch for the door to unlock. In 1955-57 two completely different pawls were installed according to body styles. The U-shaped pawl, which is the most common, and the flat egg shaped pawl. The higher Located body body side moldings on some 1956 models forced GM to move the door lock cylinder higher up on the door. This is why many of the 1956 models us the flat pawl and a different door latch assembly. In 1958 -64 two different styles and lengths of door cylinders were used. The 2-door hardtop and convertable models used the long cylinder, with 4-door and sedan models using short cylinders. When possible it is best to checkthe old original door locks for a specific cylinder style and pawl requirement.
